It is our clients’ opinions which matter most. We value every relationship we’ve forged in this industry and are grateful for the following testimonials:

We were given Pantano’s number by a fellow contractor that had used them before. We always did our own demolition in the past, but we had a large job coming up and it was more than we cared to do ourselves. I contacted them and got an instant response; Jim and Jason came out and discussed what they would do for us, the procedure, and then followed it up with a written cost estimate the next day. Their crews are careful and neat and the company is well-equipped. They do all of our demo work now, which allows us to tend to other parts of the job…

We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for many years of continuous, reliable service for all our demolition projects. Your professional approach to each project, whether small or large, your enthusiasm and eagerness to complete the work as promised and timely has been appreciated. Your employees have always been courteous and have maintained a safe and clean work area. We have no reservations in allowing your team to service all our jobsites.

— Danny, Construction Business Owner, Wayne, PA

We are builders in the Main Line area since 1974. Several years ago we had the pleasure to make the acquaintance of Pantano & Sons, Inc., who removed an existing garage for us to make way for a new one. We were very impressed by the service we received and the manner in which the job was conducted. Since that time we have engaged their services for all manner of jobs that require intelligent (read selective) demolition, including removing construction debris from the premises as well as leaving the job site vacuum clean when they are finished. Pantano & Sons, Inc. will continue to do as much work for this company as we can provide. Always a pleasure with whom to work, this company is on time and on budget.

— Frank, Builder, Villanova, PA

I wanted to thank you for the excellent job your company has done for us over the years. It has been more obvious than ever with the demo at The Wayne Hotel. Knowing that one call is all it takes to get things ready for our carpenters to walk-on and do what we do best has helped our productivity immeasurably. Thank you again, we look forward to continuing our relationship with your company in the future.

— Craig, VP Operations for local developer, Wayne, PA

Jason, just a brief note to let you know how happy our customers are with your services. Your men are quiet, clean, and very fast. It is also very nice to know that you [salvage] as many items as possible… Many thanks for the great work.

As in life, the construction business can be very exciting, unpredictable, challenging, frustrating and rewarding…sometimes all in one day.

In March 2004, I was building a garage in Ardmore. I noticed a crew of men working diligently on a demolition project next door. I was impressed on how carefully, methodically, and efficiently they were working. At days end, the men had completed work that would have taken me two days and then they meticulously cleaned the property. Despite losing money on the garage I constructed, I gained something much more valuable that day, an irreplaceable trade partner [Pantano & Sons, Inc.].

A few years ago, Jim changed his company name to Pantano & Sons. How fitting for a man who clearly earned a right to proudly display his family name. Within a short period of time, Jim assigned my account to this young buck. As time passed, I saw less and less of Jim and more of [his son, Jason].

I recently hired Pantano & Sons to demolish a pool and kitchen in Bryn Mawr. To my pleasant surprise, Jim showed up at 7:30 AM and he was smiling. Within minutes, Jim started directing his men to install what looked like an airplane runway. In fact, it was temporary protection so that his equipment wouldn’t damage the lawn. Jim subsequently showed up the second, third, fourth, fifth, and sixth days. Needless to say, two weeks later, Jim was still stopping by the jobsite to check on [his foreman, Ron] and progress. The weather had created some delays and the project was becoming less profitable by the minute. Despite all the unforeseen hurdles, Jim never complained once, never asked for a dime more than he quoted, and never cut corners to save time or money.

Jim told me about how his [grandfather] started the company, how Jim lost interest in the family business and went to operate heavy equipment…and how Jim subsequently re-started the business from scratch. While telling the story, Jim didn’t tell me about how great he was or how much he had accomplished. All Jim could talk about was Jason and how proud he was to have his son and family involved in his business.

I am honored to be here, to spend time with Jim, his family and colleagues on this special day. I just want to thank Jim for his unrelenting integrity, honesty, and reliability. Jim is a true professional.

Thanks,
Dan

The above letter was written for Jim’s 60th birthday, for which we hosted a client/vendor appreciation party at our warehouse in Norristown. Many thanks to our friends, family, and business associates who contributed thoughtful written sentiments for the “letter box” presented to Jim that day.

I have worked with Jason as a member of NARI (National Association of the Remodeling Industry). He is a hard worker, very knowledgeable about his profession, and part of a family run business that runs a very professional operation. I would not hesitate to use Jason and his firm for any demolition needs.

I wanted to thank you and your crew for an outstanding job in taking down the very large shed in our backyard. After many failed attempts to remove the shed with flatbed trucks, I was afraid we would never be rid of it. I called Pantano & Sons just days before a playground set would be delivered. I went to our local hardware shop and asked for help in finding anyone who could help me get the shed off of the property. I was told to call Pantano & Sons to demo the shed and remove all of the footings and debris left from the previous failed attempts. I really thought that the process would take days and cost too much money. But, after meeting with Jason and discussing how quickly he and his crew could have it removed, I was relieved. The price was very reasonable and the timing couldn’t have been better. In fact, in just a few short hours the shed was completely gone, all debris was cleaned up, and the backyard looked like the shed was never even there! Later that day, the playground set was assembled and the kids were playing on the swings by day’s end! I will tell everyone I know about how your company helped me make my backyard beautiful again! Thank you so much!

Jason has always done a great job for us.  Pantano & Sons, Inc. is a superb trade partner and is such an integral part of each renovation job we undertake.  Jason is personable, practical, and punctual and he helps our firm in our mission to provide a high level of professionalism to all of our clients.

Our design-build remodeling projects include kitchens, baths, additions, and whole-house makeovers in older homes around the Philadelphia metro area.  My business partner and I first met Jason Pantano at a local trade association event.  When we asked around about Pantano & Sons, all of the other members who had used them sang praises about their selective demo services, so we decided to give them a try.  In the past, we had always done our own demolition. We know that dust and dirt make homeowners crazy and that dust control had to be big on the list for any demo sub we worked with.  Often times we must also be very surgical in how our demolition is done in order to preserve the original fabric of the home and could therefore not work with any “neck down” crew.  Pantano’s crews are smart, courteous, and efficient.  Their sites are run to EPA/RRP standards, so we know our customers, employees, and company are protected. They leave the site clean and the neighbors happy.  Hiring Pantano & Sons to handle our demolition needs means our carpentry crew can stay focused on what they do really well instead.  It also means our crew can be elsewhere while demolition occurs worry-free on another project.  In this way, we increase our company’s bottom line by being on more projects at the same time.  Working with Pantano & Sons is a big win for us.

Jason, I want to thank you for the great demo work you did on our last project.  Everything was done in a clean, organized, and professional manner.  Carl was a pleasure to work with and very detail-oriented.  I look forward to working with you in the future and would highly recommend your company to anyone.

— Ron, Founder of local kitchen design and installation firm, Bryn Mawr, PA

Thank you for a great job today!  The crew arrived on time and left everything cleaner than when they arrived.  I appreciate your professionalism and how well you and Carl communicated with us during this challenging week.
